Matt Orfalea made a video compilation of the TW speaking at the protest mixed with the past racist and homophobic rants from twitter. The video is completely removed from various social media sites including facebook and reddit and it can't be linked out to any longer.

I like that Preston apologized for these tweets, blaming it on meth use. Such a great representative for the LGBT community. You know that if this person were not a member of a "marginalized group," he would be canceled immediately and permanently for saying those things. Instead, he gets a pass.

And then there was the obviously kind of mentally disturbed Eureka from RuPaul's Drag Race wandering around behind Preston on camera, looking like he just came from some drag rendition of the Flintstones.

I saw some people discussing why Facebook refused to unban the video since it clearly falls inside their guidelines of being allowed to criticize another person's terrible views but they were guessing that media companies are terrified of getting labeled transphobic so they just incinerate anything even close to a line. Reddit is another story. They clearly have some insane political motivations.

We know that there is a chemsex meth culture in the gay world. It's a problem. But what I have a problem with is Preston's apparently sustained anti-gay and anti-Asian rants being blamed on meth use. You don't just think things like that by accident. Maybe his impulse-control was disinhibited by drug use, but that only means he was being honest on Twitter about what he thought.

I don't need genuinely hateful people with personality disorders being spokespeople for any community I want to be part of.

There is definitely a meth problem within the gay community. And being on meth is no excuse for being a piece of shit. Which is why gay people need good role models to aspire to. Preferably people who know their biological sex and don’t use harmful drugs.
