I don't know, man, you'd have to be more specific. The media's wrong sometimes, but when people think the media is usually wrong, those people are usually descending into a bottomless spiral of paranoia and self-contradictory, absurd beliefs.

The media is not "wrong," it is politically slanted to the point where one side is saying an innocent young black man minding his own business helping old ladies cross the street and donating to charities is for no reason beaten by white cops and eventually shot, the other side is saying a gang leader drug lord black terrorist jumped out of a stolen vehicle and tried to beat and rob two white cops because of their skin color..... when reality is some stupid ass trash kid with no dad who was raised by crap rap and the streets did something minor illegal like steal something or gets pulled over for driving recklessly, resists arrest, refuses to follow lawful orders, and eventually has a physical altercation with police who ends up getting shot.

The PROBLEM is no mainstream news reports NEWS, they all report politically biased news commentary lightly based on what the news actually is.

I tend to think that Reuters and the AP are pretty mainstream, and they tend to just report news as it happens. There are other pretty fair publications, like the Christian Science Monitor. And there are sites working really hard to police their own biases, like Newsweek.

We do have far too much "newstainment" right now. Apparently it's far more profitable than telling people the facts, because most people would rather have their biases confirmed than learn anything.

I've got as many of the newstainment sites blocked as possible.

Even AP has been showing growing progressive slants, as well as starting to add their own commentary to their articles.

I do not find any American mainstream news to be accurate at any time. I tend to try and get my news from other countries, as they have no hand in the pot and just report, as well as youtube news people as they also tend to have little to no slant (depending on the youtuber). Overall though, if I am talking to anyone who parrots crap from mainstream news, and it is quite easy to see when they do it, I just pretty much discount anything they say outright because I know they have not looked into it, and have no actual opinion about it other than what they were dictated to think.

They are pampered since childhood overly entitled narcissists who parents gave them anything and they never did no wrong who lived their whole life on the internet which pushes your popularity as the most important thing and the measure of their lives to the point where no one else matters and they all have main character syndrome.

Yes, they ARE this stupid. Yes, they honestly believe they are the "correct" side of any argument or debate. They truly think that if they speak, not only do you HAVE to listen, but they need to speak first and anything they say are commands, not a conversation. They quite honestly think that their "side" does no wrong, much like "fake news" crap far righters did, anything not 100% in line with their dogma is alt-right propaganda, even when proof is provided. There is no use talking to any of them, they cannot learn and will not try anyways, what is there to learn when you know everything.

Essentially if you have been told you are the chosen one your whole life, then you join a movement that shares your delusions if you just say you are trans or gay (etc), then of course you are going to eventually believe it and act accordingly. You know how celebs act? Yeah, that is the whole generation now.

Thank God I hate people. I can't help but think these NPCs shouldn't be treated as real humans.
