Saidit.net - New header design, new banner

We've redesigned the header (top part of every page) so it's more consistent between day and night mode. We also are going to be exploring new banners. If you still see the old banner, try (ctrl + shift + R) which does a "hard refresh" on the page and fetches the data from scratch.

We're going to develop a rotating banner system so the background banner to the header will always be fresh. The words are all white with black around them, which is visible on any background. I made 22 banners and we'll cycle between them, maybe on the hour every hour, we're still working on that part.

Anyway, enjoy the new look!

I'm looking at the ban list for that sub and you're not on it. You were unbanned 35 minutes ago by another mod. Also you posted about this 4+ times and are making all sorts of wild accusations about the site as a whole based on the actions of one person. Calm down.

Why are you blaming the whole website for what one of the mods of one sub do, which was quickly undone (correctly) by another mod yet you didn't even notice. You realize there's over 800 subs on saidit right?

Anyway the issue was resolved a while ago. Have a good one

His way of talking reminded of a bot, so I banned him for "spam".

Back in r/braincels we had automoderator spam messages to words that were included in our messages and everyone (at least the regulars) hated it.

Well he's banned site-wide now after his meltdown and subsequent refusal to listen to any of my explanations as he went around smearing saidit as a whole and threatening violence and insulting everyone, and constantly dragging discussion way down the pyramid of debate over and over. He used up his 3 strikes and now he's gone.

This was his comment on something I posted(about guitars): guitars are dirty gypsy instruments... improve your game with an caucAsian/Asian instrument such as a cello, viola, violin...! Good riddance. Also, if you happen to read this, what happened to the "HOME" link? Is "SUBSCRIBED" the same thing(I'm a bit out of the loop)? Like the new banner BTW.

One mod banned you, and then unbanned you because you should not have been banned. It's not complicated. You were banned a total of 15 minutes.
