When someone is sharing something about themselves on social media they’re publicly putting content out they’re about themselves for just about any one with acsess to the internet to see. Stalking someone by viewing their social media content is not a violation of someone’s privacy by the logic of what I said in my last sentence. When people post what they post on social media they share where they go and who they’re interacting with it’s like social media caused the standard difficulty of a stalkers stalking game to be on easy mode due to how much people will publicly share about themselves on social media.
