Do you really think it's a bot? It seems too sentient, especially since it's been around for years, well before ChatGPT was even a thing.

I think it's a paid agitator. They probably work multiple website sites every day, not just saidit. $10/hr per employee for a couple dozen hires to partially control most small and medium forums across the whole internet... there's a lot of media companies and governments where that would be a tiny tiny cost, so I'd be surprised if at least one wasn't astroturfing a bunch of forums. It's good bang for the buck if you wanted to disrupt or control the information stream.

There's even articles years ago about these hired astroturfing groups being well known, and it's no surprise they'd have a list of "up and coming" forums that they'd keep under their thumb, to keep newcomers away and to keep them from growing.

It'd be the cheapest gov't program ever, and it would work... so that's probably what's happening
