Facebook has designated me a “dangerous individual” and now says it’s acceptable for its users to issue death threats against me.

Well according to those Facebook policies he linked to the 'Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy' is the following:

In an effort to prevent and disrupt real-world harm, we do not allow any organizations or individuals that proclaim a violent mission or are engaged in violence, from having a presence on Facebook. This includes organizations or individuals involved in the following:

Terrorist activity

Organized hate

Mass or serial murder

Human trafficking

Organized violence or criminal activity

Backtracking lead to not finding the dreaded:

(unless the target is an organization or individual covered in the Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy)

Yes, on the part of FB. I expect that in a few years it will be obvious that this incident and many others are social engineering. I don't claim to understand the motives, but from my current perspective it looks very destructive.

I suspect that the threats originate from groups that actually oppose Black Lives Matter, and Muslims.

Similar to the anti-Semitic vandalism perpetrated by Jewish instigators a couple of months ago.
