a few thoughts here; I recently read a quote that went something like this,"note all the useless clutter around you, note that it cost money, then realize that money cost your real wealth, time. Not really worth it when you realize this".
This spurred another thought, most people dream of retiring after 20, or 30+ years. They dream of this point so as to be able to 'do what they want'. Yet think about it, you waste 20, or 30+ years to start living???? Doesn't make sense, and part of the consumer ratrace culture... it's RITUAL.
So is it any shock the continuance of the consumer rat race is now 24/7 tracking, 1984 style? It doesn't shock me at all.
