Do not upvote yourself (or others) using alternate username accounts. This is considered astroturfing and will result in a ban. As a guideline, please limit yourself to 8 posts max a day and 3 crossposts max of the same link.

This seems to be the closest rule that might apply, as they would probably look like alts. That link is also found at the bottom of this page. You could ask your question in those comments.

Having just read through those comments, you might not believe the number of people wanting to post pedo shit on saidit. Here's a quote from one, of many.

I created r/zoophilia and was always the only mod. Yes, that other user is a friend of mine, but that's irrelevant. I'm also pro-pedophilia, and was really looking forward to having some rational debate about it here. I was gonna create a sub called sexual-morality, or something for frank discussion of zoophilia, pedophilia, and other such issues, but if I wouldn't be allowed to share my actual opinions (because that'd be 'promoting pedophilia,' I guess I can't do that.

Wow.

Holy fuck that went dark fast. Where was that?

Right below this in "terms & content policy".

Earlier I thought you meant Op wrote that. Damn, that is weird. So many pedos in that thread.

Agreed. Also saidit is not for porn. Can't the freaks just go ban-evade reddit? Not that I COUGH condone that sort of thing.

IMO the wiki & faq is better to refer to and should be updated rather than a 3 year old post.

M7 seems to have edited that 3 year old terms post 9 days ago. I didn't know about that new 8 posts and 3 crossposts BULLSHIT rule until recently. This place is rapidly going to shit and M7 is bringing it on himself.

Among other stubbornness, M7 refuses to have a special/important notices in the sidebox or header (as I've created in /s/DecentralizeAllThings). It's almost like he doesn't want a proper informed community to exist.

    Ironic:

I don't intend on breaking the rules for any particular reason, for good, bad, or mischievous giggles, but I am curious about the process and what happens. I would expect that terrible stuff (porn, child porn, drug sales, gun sales, etc) would be deleted upon discovery, logically. But what about the grey area. Do folks get to re-edit their work, discussions and debates occur, warnings given, strikes, limits, etc?

I'm new to voting forums so I'm reading up here and elsewheres.

We give warnings unless you're doing something obviously bad. Odds are you'll never interact with this system.

Ha, I saw that, and did indeed note the irony.

On a positive note, it looks like your friend Dio is back.

    /u/diogenesjunior has not changed.

What's the new alias or where has he posted/commented?

Or is it an LXXX impostor as the other comment implies?

This was my source. Let me know if real or imposter.

saiditter for 19 hours I don't even care who you used to be.

    Apologies for my other comment.

I see you were kicked out of Reddit.

You poked your nose into a situation you may not understand.

I had assumed you were just another alias of LXXX..., aka 88, aka HH, aka Heil Hitler.

The LXXX/IronLeft asstrolls are trying to ruin SaidIt. magnora7, our site admin, has been banning them as he should, along with others that maybe he shouldn't (ie. diogenesjunior), but we'll never know because he's very secretive about it all - not accountable to anyone, for worse or for worse.

      You are very welcome.

Stolen valor. You are NOT the only one advocating for DioJr's return - and his choice to ban-evade has nothing to do with you. Unless you're actually affiliated, which he's claimed isn't the case.

      ...pressure campaign.

IFTFY: ...asstroll campaign of absurdly childish demands, spam obfuscation, and cyber terrorism.

My weekly single post is an actual awareness and pressure campaign for fair, open, and accountable social management systems.

You are 100% full of shit, in words and actions.

I was protesting M7 long before you even showed up. My weekly protests are not "inspired" by you - I'm AVOIDING being STABs like you, and thus exposing your bullshit while exemplifying what legit protests within M7's limited rules can be. If you were legit and/or smart you'd see this.

thank god. So tired of edgy pedoes thinking they can push their perversions on others

Yes but abuse can get any ip banned so no guarantees that it will consistently work.

there are many levels to privacy, the highest being the safest setting on tor (edit on a open-sourced OS under strong code review, like freebsd). there's this site that tells you how unique your electronic fingerprint is using the browser you're currently using. in other words, vpns don't really do that much. if you want to evade from an organization, it might help. if your vpn is provided by an organization that's good at computer security, that might help too. but if you just got one of those vpns recommended by youtubers, you can't prevent the government from tracking you. for more detail, see these two links:

        1. https://gist.github.com/joepie91/5a9909939e6ce7d09e29
        2. https://gist.github.com/kennwhite/1f3bc4d889b02b35d8aa

btw tor is made by the us navy if i recall correctly so american government is kinda an exception to tor tracking...though they might allow perfect privacy and anonymity because it's really a double-edged sword.

Indeed, as a quantum computer engineer and scientist, I can tell we know what we are doing...

But I don't need that extreme level of "privacy". I just needed something that won't display our immediate location, and a self hosted proxy is all I need.

I may still thank you for your answer!

        [–]SubliminalCriminal 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

the tor browser is nice for privacy ( https://www.torproject.org/ ), it is like using three vpn's... you can use tor browser to access saidit.net, when you use tor to access saidit.net, the browser goes thru something like three intermediate servers before accessing saidit, which means that saidit does not get to know my ip address.

if you want to make tor more secure, there are ways to tell it to not allow javascript, which makes some websites unusable, but anyways..

tor also has the ability to access the dot onion webpage dns system..

it costs nothing to register a "dot onion" url.

it costs nothing to host a "dot onion" site on your local computer.

i actually use the hotspot wifi on my laptop to host my dot onion site, which can only be accessed using the tor browser.

ok, it's just when i browse the site i came across a lot of people who don't know what they're doing and believed their vpn shields them from everything when in fact their machine might have already been rooted. also saidit's open source iirc so you can look at their system in that regards to make sure.
