No idea, but that debatealtright sub could use some help with that.

There are two ways to do this, that I know of:

  1. Easy: use a long image and just cover up the default banner. Like s/Dixie

  2. Hard: use a screen-sized image, hide the default banner (which is just the SaidIt icon), and set your image to both the body's background, and header-bottom-left's background (this means there are technically two images, but they always look like one). Like s/ThirdParty

If you can't figure it out: I can help design the CSS for you.

where do you alter the CSS, Its been a while but I might be able to figure it out. I have a couple subs Id like to set some better images on. I do like the way the second option looks.

Scroll down and on the right under "MODERATION TOOLS" there should be a link titled "edit stylesheet".

Been in there but there is no current style sheet to edit

Oh, yeah, the header image can be changed in the settings page, but you should use the stylesheet page instead. Just go to settings, then scroll all the way down, and hit "restore default header". Then add it back through the stylesheet page, how I said above.

issue is when I go to edit stylesheet its already blank. doesnt appear there is a stylesheet to edit, unless you have to create it from scratch?

You do. It overrides the default one, but for some things you need the !important flag.

Are there any write ups on it? Thanks so far
