What are your favorite features or aspects of SaidIt?

I just made a post about how I really enjoy being a part of a new community. I also really love the two different up vote system. What draws you to SaidIt?

I too like the laughing icon it’s fun. Otherwise it works just like old reddit but doesn’t have psycho power mods, blue hair admins and isn’t 50% paid Chinese shill accounts and that’s enough for me!

I like that its the most well baked reddit alternative. It has an actual api for apps to use, it has two fairly decent android apps available, and it has a nice mobile website as well as a full featured desktop one.

Most reddit alternatives are missing one of or multiple of these things.

Would be nice if it was a little more active though.

From what I've heard and seen of ruqqus at least the servers are reliably up haha

I like that you don't have to worry about getting instantly banned

Ironically I'm more inclined towards being civil on saidit rather than reddit. I've said nigger more times on a single account on reddit than for the entire time I've been on saidit (6-7 months). Obviously I do say it but not unnecessarily

I mean, I don't curse like that all the time, but know you can get sub bans on Reddit for saying things like "he dindu nuthin" or "naggers" (yeah, nAggers)

I like that there is no censorship of opinions, and I also like the lack of downvotes. It’s not an echo chamber because of that.

The mobile app is a bit weird to use, but otherwise beats reddit.

I just use my browser on my phone, what makes the app weird?

Most functions are just found from lists instead of having a button of their own, (e.g. to comment you have to open up post options menu). It is just a bit different from other ui's I've used.
