I'm not sure if I'm alone in my thinking or if other people agree, but I find something about SaidIt being a newer community makes me more inclined to post here. The smaller community makes my voice feel like it's actually heard. I also love the no downvotes so people who disagree aren't sent into oblivion simply for their opinion. I still will use popular alternative website if I'm asking a specific question about a project and need a larger population for more answers, but I'm hoping eventually I won't have to. There is something very refreshing and enjoyable about being a part of something new that makes me actually want to post. I never feel like posting on popular alternative website because it feels like I'll recieve a million negative votes, or like 12 votes, but someone who posts the same thing gets 4000 votes because they spend all day on the site. This site feels more organic to me. Thanks for reading my wall of text if you did.
Tldr: SaidIt feels refreshing and I enjoy being a part of it's developing community.
