No downvotes is the best. Being able to talk freely without having your comment shrunk and removed is nice.

There is a danger of it turning into a Jew hating site though. The amount of anti-Semitism is very suspicious. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few reddit bots out there deliberately trying to destabilize Saidit and bring it down before it takes off.

Yeah, when I first got here the racism was kind of rampant and it made me wary of staying here but as I stick to it I've been seeing less radical people. I'm hoping the community will continue to grow and we can see a diverse community that let's conversation flourish.

I came here from a different, less popular alternative website because I just grew so very tired of its incessant racism and anti-Semitism being masqueraded as badges of free speech. I would not be surprised if some of the same de-stabilizers (and I'm quite certain, legitimate racists and anti-Semites) would want to try their hands at griefing this place just to see what happens.

I like that my comments actually get replies! It's so exciting to just have a convo with someone here, even if the post gets like 2 points. On reddit I would just get drowned out.. also it's just nice that we don't have a lot of repeating comments here (minus the Jew haters.. nothing is perfect).

The down side is that it's very hard to get attention for a new sub, and this place definitely needs more hobby subs.
