They want you to quit. It will be way easier for them if you just walk away. Stay strong.

I probably can't find another job in my field

Another reason not to quit.

Are your skills transferable to any roles in the private sector?

Not really, I can maybe look for state jobs or maybe a none profit outside of health care of any sort. The county I'm in put a mandate for their county employees despite the no mandate law that DeSantis put in. There been a legal battle going on with that. I'm at a private non-profit that takes federal money, that's how I got stuck with the mandate. The thing is that I want to change fields. I was thinking of traveling for a bit and learning a trade. I been learning basic carpentry for one of my homestead projects. But I also want to fight it because it's BS.

You still have a month, the mandate doesn't make much sense anymore, things may change.

Wife had to be vaccinated, I'm vaccinated. Most people have no serious side effects. I'm against the mandates personally, but I like things like eating and shelter.

why'd you become a social worker, the most soy job. Of course it would have mandates.

Wasn't about the money, wanted to help people. Chose that path well before covid.

Was already in the field before college actually. But yes it's super easy, I'll admit that. But I got scholarships and grants to go for free, so why not get the dumb piece of paper that raised my pay. The job really shouldn't require a degree. Stupid bureaucracy making arbitrary requirements for jobs that ironically help people who got trapped in that bureaucratic system. I know it's a scam, but got to help some people get housing along the way. Now it's time to move on.
