I know that precise votes counts are supposedly fuzzed to prevent "vote manipulation". But for the last 6 months to a year I believe they are straight up not counting my votes any longer.

Used to be that at least on smaller vote counts, <10 maybe, that they did no manipulations and if I upvoted someone with a +1 it would go to +2, and if I refreshed the page it would still report +2. But anymore, my vote has no meaning once I refresh the page: now, if I upvote a +1 it immediately will show as +2, but as soon as I refresh it will be back to +1. Same for downvotes.

Made me feel pretty insignificant, but I kept on voting, thinking(hoping) they were counting my vote but just not showing it - you know because of "vote manipulation" prevention, I rationalized.

But the more I watch the effects, the less I can pretend that they are actually counting my votes. For instance, it used to be that my vote could affect the order of the same-level comments - but no longer! Say there are two base-level comments each sitting at +2. Now if I upvoted one and downvoted the other, in the past after a refresh I may not get a clear adjustment in the vote score, but the order of the comments would at least change as expected. Now, I will not even see that occur (no order adjustment, no vote score change).

My hypothesis is that my account is subject to a new(?), sneakier form of a shadowban. Under a shadowban from years ago you could quickly find out because nobody would reply to (or vote on) your comments/posts. But with this deep-shadowban there is very little indication that you are now persona-non-grata. Only way I can tell is from what I described above. Anyone else notice this?
