Diversity and inclusion are often the opposite of what you want. If you have a specific goal in mind, diversity will complicate things and distract from that goal. Inclusion is going to limit the quality of people you bring on, since skilled people want to work with other skilled people and don't want to be around people who can't hold their own weight.

Compassion and kindness are fairly decent universal values, though, unless taken to the extreme.
