I've liked a bunch of straight girls, and one time I had a crush on a guy who turned out to be gay. That's just people who weren't into women, not even mentioning people who just plain old weren't interested lol

Yep. If we assume that 2% of people are homosexual and 2% of people are bisexual, that implies that bisexuals only have a dating pool that's roughly 4% larger in relative terms, or 2 points higher in absolute terms.

Straight person's dating pool: 49% (hetero or bi of the opposite sex)

Bisexual person's dating pool: 49% (hetero or bi of the opposite sex) + 2% (bi or homo of same sex) = 51%
