I used to read manga reviews by a lesbian I had followed for sometime and some of the things she says makes me feel like she'd be the type to terf... but doesn't. It's so disappointing. I just don't understand how someone can make a full analysis on how misogynistic a manga written by a male can be, but then turn around and say TWAW in the same line.

That does sound frustrating to hear. I'm sick and tired of the TQ+ theory invading everything in media and basically stating "If you don't agree with TWAW, you're a heartless, bigot". It's possible these people big in media are just mindlessly saying "Trans women are women" even though they don't believe it, just so they're not attacked by fans and others. At work, it's very regreassive progressive, so I have to watch what I say.

I detransitioned MANY years back, and I do sympathize with regular trans people who are questioning it, BUT I don't agree with transitioning for a cure for dysphoria at all. If I would've gone through with surgery/hormones, I probably would've wanted to kill myself. It's not the same as being born that sex and it never will be...They need help for the gender dysphoria instead of celebrating, it's not a fun thing to have at all. It really fucking sucked to have.

For reals :/ and they're so toxic too...

What would you say that would help people with dysphoria if transitioning isn't the way to go? And I'm sorry to hear that you went through that, dysphoria really does sound awful. It's so crazy to me that TRAs/libfems are treating it as something trendy and fun rather than a serious mental condition.
