Philosophic misunderstanding or brain damage?
submitted 12 days ago by ForbiddenKnowledge from (self.AskSaidIt)
What leads a person to believe men can be women?
Is this the toxic waste they serve us for food, turning us into retards? Or is there a philosophical error at the base of this?
Could we correct a faulty premise these people have and suddenly BOOM they are sane again, or is it neurological, as in, no ampunt of logic can solve the issue because they are no longer rational?

Most people who say they believe it don't actually believe it.

What u/soundsituation says is right. 90% of it is just some combination of virtue-signalling and "the Emperor's New Clothes", going along with the crowd. Most "allies" fall into this.
Maybe 1% is just cynical grifting, for financial or other benefit, like the doctors and therapists who push trans, or the sex criminals who suddenly discover they are really a woman the instance the police arrest them.
About 9% of it is wishful thinking by the troons themselves. If they tell themselves they are really a woman enough, then someday it will be true. Hence the narcissistic rage when they are confronted with people who won't play along.
Maybe one in a thousand actually thinks that men can be women, and vice versa, because there is no limit to human stupidity.
And maybe one in fifty thousand has a literal mental illness with delusional thinking.

So if we tell them that their attempt at righteousness isn't working,
"Hey, you don't look righteous when you say that boys are girls, you just look stupid."
Could that fix it?

Mental illness is always hard to understand. People think and behave in most strange and seemingly random ways. Read some Oliver Twist books and it will make your head hurt.

Read some Oliver Twist books
Did you mean Oliver Sacks or Oliver Twist?
Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens or the well known Dutch author Charles Dikkens with two Ks?

The rise of so-called transgenderism is mostly due to social forces, but we should not ignore the effect of toxic chemicals affecting the brain.
With the vast amount of hormones, pesticides, and endocrine disruptors including microplastics in the food chain, the drinking water, and even the air we breath, we are messing with our brains all the time.
Microplastics are now everywhere, including our blood and even in our brains.
We add endocrine-disrupting chemicals not just to perfumes and fragrences but all sorts of consumer products: those stupid pine tree things people hang off the rear-view mirror to make their car stink of retch-inducing fake lemon, pine or "that new car smell" (off-gassing toxic plastics); cleaning products, laundry detergents, toilet paper, even rubbish bags are deliberately made with volatile organic chemicals that are known to cause toxic effects, including neurotoxicity -- including banned chemicals, showing the poor ability of the fragrance industry to regulate itself. Some of these products release dozens and even hundreds of volatile organic chemicals, many of which are known to be toxic, and they can interact with each other and atmospheric pollution is ways we have barely even begun to study.
It is no wonder that over the last few decades there has been such an increase in allergies, ADHD, auto-immune disorders, depression, neuroticism and other serious health issues. Depression and autism are often (deliberately) misdiagnosed as "you must be transgender" by biased and incompetent therapists.
