Well, at this point on Facebook it is definitely a censorship issue. It's mostly a censorship issue on Reddit as well, although somehow they didn't kill /r/conservative.

I'd say there's a lot of self censorship as well. No one wants a pile on and public shaming for saying something which would be considered common sense or at least a moderate opinion offline.

Yeah, they're pretty heavily censored by now. It's been normalized and the left wants everyone to think there is no effective argument to their narrative. Because they literally don't believe in debate.

They're morally right, anyone else is morally wrong. Debate and argument (Enlightenment values) produced the vicious, ugly racist system we have today. More debate and argument isn't the solution.

Yes, they really believe this.

There are no conservative think-tanks, international NGOs and corporate fundings through global associations and forums to protect conservative ideas. And it shouldn't, because truth alone does not need protection. Information exchange venues will always suffer more interference from this group due to the simple fact conservatism is a path of pain and conflict. The path of least resistance is offered and pushed so those who choose it are easier to be controlled.

Yes, I understand it seems like a rather daft question, it is only that I have trouble articulating my thoughts.

Of course I understand the censorship. That is obvious. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. Conservatives are on thin ice and have much less freedom to express their thoughts in comparison to others.

What I was saying is that it's as though even in organic scenarios not bound by censorship do Liberals input their opinions and that it is very rarely any other political leaning. I was thinking that maybe this was because when I look at my Trump voting friends, they're more into cars, mechanical shit, outdoorsy stuff. While my Trump... "disapproving" buddies are more into the arts, tech, things like that - and that maybe there is really a smaller of population of some ideologies online.

It's hard to explain without tripping over a landmine of political baggage. For example if you use the word "sheep" nothing you say can get through to the reader because they are immediately inundated with decades of feelings and opinions and arguments related to people being sheep. But so much of politics is just people trying to fit in that you can't have an honest conversion without addressing it. The people who are the most vocal about their opinions are leftists because (for many reasons) leftist ideology is seen as the norm. The media is all leftists, the school system is all leftists, and everyone is taught that if you aren't a leftist you must be a racist. So leftists are known for attacking anyone who isn't a leftist. And so those people tend to avoid politics, while the leftists find every opportunity to virtue signal.
