I think maybe you're young and have a lot of empty time that you need to fill up with hobbies. Don't worry, after you get married and have children, you won't have that "too much spare time" problem any more.

Boomers in general are good at working hard, but not very good at learning new things and being flexible about life. Probably a result of their economic and monetary success in previous decades
